Overview

Established in 1992, the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) is an inter-governmental organization whose goal is to promote sustainable and equitable economic growth and socio-economic development through efficient product systems, deeper co-operation and integration, good governance and durable peace and security among sixteen southern African countries, namely: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, DRC, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

With a combined population of 365 million, 700 Billions USD  in GPD, 10 Million km² of land area, the region is connoted with fastest growing trends of intra-regional trade and economic integration in the world, at 2.6% tariff rate, as well as significantly contributing to the intra-African economic space. Therefore its market presents ample opportunities for current and future perspectives.

  • The SADCPI RANKING is a property investment barometer, designed to indicated the ''relative safety and comfort'' of the different markets within the region. The algorithm uses an array of data and statistics from economical and governmental agencies such as SADC, The World Bank, IMF, United Nations as well as NGO,s including Transparency International and Human Rights Watch. However the Index is not hereby the sole factor to your decision, as we understand that investments differ in objectives. Therefore the Index can be regarded as a ''risk management tool'', as we work towards finding your perfect product.

EASE OF DOING BUSINESS & FRAGILITY STATE INDEX

The ranking of economies is determined by sorting the aggregate ease of doing business scores: The higher the indicator's value, the more difficult the country is. - The Fragile State Index measures comprise of twelve conflict risk indicators that are used to measure the condition of a state at any given moment: security apparatus, factionalized elites, group grievance, economic decline, uneven economic development, human flight and brain drain, state legitimacy, public services, human rights and rule of law, demographic pressures, refugees and IDPs, and external intervention: The higher the value of the index, the more "fragile" the country is.
